September Roundup

Recently I’ve been quite busy running diver training courses, mountaineering guiding, some dive club events as well as being a father and partner!

September thankfully has been full of busy times.

As such I’ve not really updated the stuff we’ve been doing so here’s a quick catch up;

I started an IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix course in West Wales using sheltered water and the Sea for the deeper dives, hoping to continue this in October, weather permitting.

I started the month teaching a BSAC Twinset course which was great fun, we ran this in the sea off West Wales and was a resounding success.

Following this I organised a club five day dive trip in North Pembrokeshire diving wrecks up north from our club dive boat Scavenger. This was great with us based in Porthgain, lovely quaint seaside village with great food, hospitality and friendly people.

After we returned from this I spent a few days working on my fishing boat ensuring that she is fit for purpose and ready to start working again in the next few weeks.

Bringing us to this last week where I’ve been based in the Mendips running TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Procedures at Vobster (great full for the help and support during my visit) followed by some try dives and some scrambling and climbing in the awesome Cheddar Gorge.

If you would like to do some diver training or mountaineering with me please get in touch on 07534 387152 or check out my training options as I’d love to help you achieve your goals.

I am a passionate adventurer, loving being in the mountains walking, climbing, scrambling as much as I love being under the water exploring shipwrecks, mines and caverns, or in search of treasure in the depths. My real passion lies in combining mountains and water and as such you’ll often find me either in the mountains altitude diving, or in the mountains ice diving. Both exhilarating and peaceful – allowing me to regenerate the inner me, whilst pushing myself physically and mentally.
