Winter Mountain Skills & Ice Diving Training

Being out on the hills and mountains is an amazing experience, but being on them in Winter is spectacular. I love being in the mountains all year around. However, the same mountain that you are visiting in the summer maybe a very different place in the winter. As such, I have put together a package of training that will give you the skills you require to get out into the mountains safely in all winter conditions, have a great time and come home with amazing memories and tales of conquests.

I offer a range of skills, experiences and adventures suitable for everyone. Most of the skills are taught as part of an active quality mountain day, adjusted to suit your level of experience.

Training can be a day, a weekend, a week or whatever works for you. Mountain Skills typically covered include;

  • Self Arrest
  • Self Belay
  • Footwork
  • Cutting Steps
  • Crampons & Their Use
  • Snow & Ice Anchors
  • Snow Shelters

I will be in Scotland running winter mountaineering and Ice diving throughout December, January, February and March 2021 (Covid19 allowing) so get in touch and book your day or few days with me.
