An awesome development in your diving is going Altitude Diving!
Some locations on the planet are not at sea level, and learning how to compensate for this is important. Combining my vast knowledge of mountaineering at mixed with my love of diving and I can offer you the perfect mix.
This isn’t just another course to me, I’m passionate about climbing high to dive low in order to achieve some altitude experiences. Join me on one of my altitude adventures and achieve your SDI altitude course at the same time.
The purpose of the Altitude Diver Course is to acquaint you with the necessary procedures and knowledge to dive safely at altitudes of at least 300 metres/1000 feet above sea level. In addition, recently I wrote up a blog article for SDI international website which is here.
I run this course all around the UK and abroad, so am more than happy to facilitate the course anywhere to suit you. In the UK the most popular locations are as below and you can follow the links to book on a dive if you wish;
- Llyn Llyffant – Wales highest lake
- Red Tarn – England’s highest lake
- Loch Etchachan – Scotland and the UKs highest lake
Here’s a video of the altitude dive at Red Tarn, filmed over the summer of 2020;
