A crazy busy week working on boats and doing some commercial scallop diving in West Wales. Pembrokeshire is a great place for Scallops, the only problem is the season is quite short being only six months, but in those six months as long as the boat is functioning we can get a good catch. My club dive boat, Scavenger, also has been worked on having a full clean down and being scrubbed clean ready for painting. We started painting, but there are never enough hours in the day, but in all fairness, I think we have done a great job in the time we had. Lots of welding done, new safety rails installed, new radar reflectors, new dive lifts, new benches, – its all been going on. At the end of it all though, we have to have some fun otherwise it just gets tedious.

I am a passionate adventurer, loving being in the mountains walking, climbing, scrambling as much as I love being under the water exploring shipwrecks, mines and caverns, or in search of treasure in the depths. In addition I hand dive for Scallops and Sea urchins. View more posts
