Twin-set Failure Responses

Recently I was asked by BSAC to make some online videos instructing divers in certain skills and techniques, so that they can further their knowledge from home during the Covid19 pandemic.

As such, the first topic I delivered was setting up your twinset which is all about rigging the diving harness, wing and plate for your twinset diving, the second topic was hints and tips on how to reach your twinset valves, the third topic was how to rig your decompression dive stage, and the forth was this one which is how to shutdown a manifolded twinset.

This is a training video for BSAC Twinset diver course on the Twin-set Failure Responses with Isolation Manifold predominantly looking at two scenarios, 1. Identified failed gas supply and 2. Unidentified Gas leakage.

I hope you find it useful and informative, albeit I did find it slightly strange recording a video to myself.

Twinset Failure Responses

Published by Mark Lewis Adventures

I am a passionate adventurer, loving being in the mountains walking, climbing, scrambling as much as I love being under the water exploring shipwrecks, mines and caverns, or in search of treasure in the depths. My real passion lies in combining mountains and water and as such you’ll often find me either in the mountains altitude diving, or in the mountains ice diving. Both exhilarating and peaceful – allowing me to regenerate the inner me, whilst pushing myself physically and mentally.
