Adventures with Mark Vol: 20

Adventures with Mark Vol 20

Another good week that wasn’t as planned, but still turned out good. I headed off to do a few days first aid training around the Country.

Once I was back I had to go to West Wales and deal with a fabricator who had messed me around with regards to fixing my dive lift… driving home from West Wales was interesting due to the horrendous winds which caused trees to fall and lorries to leave the road.

Then more poor weather ensued resulting in cancelling the planned boat diving so we headed up into the Brecon Beacons hiking, followed by a visit to Penderyn Distillery where we sampled some of the pleasures.

I am a passionate adventurer, loving being in the mountains walking, climbing, scrambling as much as I love being under the water exploring shipwrecks, mines and caverns, or in search of treasure in the depths. My real passion lies in combining mountains and water and as such you’ll often find me either in the mountains altitude diving, or in the mountains ice diving. Both exhilarating and peaceful – allowing me to regenerate the inner me, whilst pushing myself physically and mentally.
