Working in the Lake District

Yesterday I had an admin morning sorting out lots of work and paperwork that I had to catch up on since being away for a few days.

That done and I got to have a fun evening catching up with close friends in Stourbridge.

Today I headed further north to get ready for a few days of diving in the Lake District. I stopped off at Capernwray Dive Centre, caught up with some friends and colleagues, saw others that I didn’t manage to speak to, and also I got my cylinders filled up. Guido at Capernwray was exceptional helpful in sorting out my kit.

Then the journey continued on to Coniston water to check out the dive site for tomorrow. I arrived at Bailiff Woods dive site and bumped into Oli Van Overbeek from Dive Life Manchester. We had a catch up and he gave me some local knowledge on the dive site so that was good.

I’m ending the day chilling in Barrow in Furness with a lovely view over the water. Hope you have had a great day and done what makes you happy.

I am a passionate adventurer, loving being in the mountains walking, climbing, scrambling as much as I love being under the water exploring shipwrecks, mines and caverns, or in search of treasure in the depths. My real passion lies in combining mountains and water and as such you’ll often find me either in the mountains altitude diving, or in the mountains ice diving. Both exhilarating and peaceful – allowing me to regenerate the inner me, whilst pushing myself physically and mentally.
