A great walk through the Black Mountain. Taking in the summits of Fan Hir, Fan Brycheinog, Fan Foel, Waun Lefrith and back to Carreg Goch. Long but satisfying route.
Cader Idris is a great hike, its a standalone mountain on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park with loads of good routes up it.
The main scrambling routes up Crib y Ddysgl (also known as Garnedd Ugain) are Clogwyn Mawr Rib, Llechog Ridge, Clogwyn Du’r Arddu East Terrace, and Llechog Buttress. This is the route up Llechog ridge and buttress.
Cneifion Arete is a fantastic day out in Snowdonia when combined with Idwal Staircase and Continuation. The route feels like a proper airy alpine ridge and is actually pretty confidence giving for a grade 3.
