To comply with the MCA guidelines and MGN notice 599, everyone who wishes to dive off scavenger dive boat must read and accept the following information. Failure to complete this will stop you being able to dive off the boat.
I offer boat diving on my privately owned, custom built steel dive boat based out of Milford Haven in West Wales. The boat carries six divers plus two crew. The boat has a dive ladder – no diver lift.
Her insurance is underwritten with Navigators & General Insurance Company Limited and her insurance number is 731049.
She was inspected in January 2018 and she will be re-inspected before Jan 2022.
I am her skipper and I am a qualified CAT3 Skipper.

Life Raft for boat capacity
For the avoidance of doubt, Scavenger is not setup as a separate business or entity from me, the boat is operated as my privately owned boat and I operate it under Combined Diving Associations Boating Initiatives Guidelines. The diving off Scavenger is covered under these guidelines.
I also run the Scavenger Dive Boat Club operating as a BSAC branch for boat diving only. By completing this form you are becoming members of the Scavenger Boat Diving club which is a members’ club formed for the purpose of sport or pleasure which, at the time it is being used, is used only for the sport or pleasure of members of that club or their immediate family (although this doesn’t stop or affect any membership of any other club with BSAC or any other agency). As a member of Scavenger Dive Boat Club you are automatically covered for third party insurance if you are an existing member of BSAC, or if not, then as a guest with us.
In addition, our insurance covers you whilst on the boat for all the diving activities linked to Scavenger Dive Boat club, however please note that liabilities to divers are excluded from the time of going overboard until safely back onboard.
As a member you can dive off Scavenger as often as you like. As a guest you are only able to dive off her six times in a year without becoming a member (so that would be six days worth of diving).
