work

I have always loved sharing stories from my time spent on adventures outdoors; it was only ever a dream to be able to make this a career, but I am thrilled to have been able to make that a reality and I now work full-time diving, mountaineering, hand fishing, blogging and creating content for YouTube and Instagram. I am driven by a desire to want to inspire people to head outdoors, connect with nature and feel the physical and mental health benefits of the natural world.

If you are interested in working with me in any way, send me a message to mark@marklewis.co I’d love to share creative ideas and create content to inspire others.

content creation & social media

If you are a brand and would like to be featured on my blog, YouTube channel or Instagram, there are a number of options available. I can create an Instagram post or story with your product/business, review products for my blog or YouTube channel, create a sponsored video or compile a full feature blogpost on my own or your blog. Anything else? Send me an email and we can work on something. Though I love working with brands, all opinions are my own and I only feature products I genuinely like. I do sometimes work in exchange for product or exposure if I like and believe in the product. Fees can be arranged via email.

  • Northern Diver International – Scuba Diving the UKs Highest Lake in Winter
  • Tiny Rebel Brewery – Ice Diving with a can of Clwb Tropica
  • The Adventures of Joshua – Safety consultancy work

writing

I am passionate about writing, I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and my passion for adventure with others. The aim being to inspire and encourage people to experience beyond their borders. I write how I talk, in a conversational and easy manner.

In 2013 I published my expedition diaries, a collection of my diaries from expeditions that I led or participated in over the previous fifteen years.

From 2013 onwards, I have published seven books under the series of ‘The Adventures of Joshua‘ a project designed to help my son grow his passion for the outdoors, and inspire other kids to get outside and enjoy creation at its best.

I write through my blog on various topics, some are informal blogs about my adventures, some maybe route guides for hiking, some maybe excellent dive sites, some maybe my thoughts and feelings about stuff.

I write for Fishing News Magazine as their Wales Features and News correspondent.

I can create content for your brands website, write blog posts for you, do gear reviews, write inspirational articles and expedition reports – all accompanied by great quality pictures and footage. If you’re interested, please get in touch via mark@marklewis.co

scavenger dive boat club

I run a dive club for all divers, based out of Milford Haven. This is an opportunity for divers to develop and put into practice the skills they have learnt on their courses, and put them into practice diving in the ocean of West Wales.

Our boat is based in Milford Haven and we offer diving all along the West Wales coast, around Skomer, Ramsey, Fishguard, St Brides, Milford Haven and Tenby.

If you’re interested in getting out on a dive boat, or utilising the boat for filming projects, safety work or any other objective, get in touch and we can discuss options to suit your needs. More information about Scavenger dive boat club and west wales diving can be found on our dedicated https://scavengerdiveboat.club/

FV Living Waters

I own and operate a small fishing vessel called Living Waters (see her history here). She’s based in West Wales and we operate her out of Milford Haven with port numbers of M48. Her primary function is to facilitate me diving for Scallops and Sea Urchins.

All of the product we catch is sustainable as it is hand dived, we select only product that is above legal size limits, and we don’t damage the seabed or environment by hand diving.

Our products are sold locally and as fresh as can be. All product sold to consumers are microbiological and marine toxin tested to ensure that the products are safe to consume.

For more information about my sustainable fishing or to purchase our products, please get in touch via mark@marklewis.co – I am always happy to welcome the media to see how we work and watch sustainable fishing first hand.
